Originally built in 1910 in Arlington's Maywood historic district, this classic Foursquare gets a full interior renovation and a new 3 story rear addition.  The project was approved by the HALRB and was certified under Arlington's Green Home Choice Program for its sustainable design, materials, and construction methods.  The streamlined period interior creates a wonderful open family gathering space that complements the original classic foursquare.  Gourmet kitchen with simple period style is open to family room.  Large family style island with reclaimed wood counter. Classic details and materials such as cabinetry with inset doors, reclaimed wood island, soapstone counters, subway tile, filament pendant lights, etc.  Addition includes kitchen open to family room, mudroom, and powder room on first floor; a new master suite, fourth bedroom, and laundry on second level; bonus room on third level under dormers; and new recreation room and fifth bedroom in lower level.

Originally built in 1918 in Arlington's Maywood historic district, this classic Foursquare gets a full renovation, rear addition, and garage.  Narrow corner lot required design strategy to minimize footprint and width.  Full new basement and excavated original basement with full walk up stair at interior side allows full lower level recreation room and guest suite with natural light and egress.  First floor has family friendly rear porch entrance from garage that leads into mudroom, family room, breakfast nook, and new kitchen.  Four bedrooms and two baths upstairs.  Project required historic HALRB approval and zoning variance.
